Welcome back to IT Pro Tuesday!

We're looking for your favorite tips and tools we can share with the community... those that help you do your job better and more easily. Please reply or leave a comment with your suggestions, and we'll be featuring them in the coming weeks.

As always, we’re updating the full list on our website here. Enjoy.

A Cheatsheet

Comprehensive Python Cheatsheet is exactly what the name would lead you to expect. This terrific resource is hot off the press from Jure Šorn and conveniently offered in a browser version (with dark theme option) and downloadable text file as well as a forkable option on GitHub. Thanks for this one go to haone852.

A Free Tool

HWiNFO is a complete hardware analysis and monitoring solution for Microsoft OSes (DOS, Windows 95 - Windows 11, WinPE) that supports a wide variety of platforms (i8086 - Xeon Platinum). Kindly suggested by DisturbedUnit.

A Tutorial

Privacy: Disable cloud-based spell checker in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge explains how to shut off the on-by-default advanced spell checker that automatically sends every user text in web applications to the cloud.

A Tip

Silaene shares some advice for a job interview: "You want to get them talking, the more they talk about themselves or the job, the greater the rapport you build and more rose-tinted the interview will feel for them. The goal is for you to pick up on things they don't want to outright state, like recently replacing a number of engineers (means employee churn is high), lots of troubleshooting (lots of late nights and poorly maintained/implemented infra), etc."

A Podcast

Today in Tech features hosts, Juliet Beauchamp and Ken Mingus, interviewing assorted guest experts on leading-edge technology developments and current news. Dramatic_Golf_5619 appreciates it as a means of keeping up with the latest trends in network engineering.

P.S. Bonus Free Tools

Crayon Visio Network Shapes, Revisited is an improved and extended version of the original, well-loved Crayon Network Shapes. This new set includes a total of 28 fun, kiddy-style shapes with a transparent background. GullibleDetective tells us, "My fav visio diagrams are the crayon ones."

Whoisology is a massive, searchable database that provides an in-depth view of domain name ownership through its cross-referenced domain name whois records. The tool's priority is on reverse whois, to assist with security, cyber crime investigation, research and other business endeavors. Our appreciation for this recommendation goes to crashdodson.

Have a fantastic week and as usual, let us know any comments.
