Here’s to another week done and dusted, and our latest edition of IT Pro Tuesday. You know the drill — we’re not affiliated with any of the brands below unless we state otherwise.

Blue Screen View

If you’ve ever encountered the blue screen of death, you’ll know how annoying it can be to figure out what went wrong. BlueScreenView makes getting to the bottom of the matter easier by scanning the minidump files created when the screen crashed. You get all the pertinent data displayed in an easy-to-read table.

Sysadmin Tutorials

Not only does SysAdmin Tutorials have a huge offering of tutorials for you to work through, it’s also impeccably organized. Whether you want to learn about Microsoft or Cisco, you’ll find a lot of information here.

Some Light Relief

If you need to relax a bit, take a little time to visit The Expert. We can all relate to meetings like this, and I’m pretty sure most of us have played both roles at one stage or another. What about you? Have you got a similar story to share? Let us know in the comments.

PowerShell Explained

There’s no question that PowerShell can be both amazing and hugely frustrating at the same time. In his blog, PowerShell Explained, Kevin Marquette offers solutions to the most common irritations, handy tips, and some valuable resources. He also runs a podcast that covers the latest news in the PowerShell sphere. Check it out here.

Windows System Control Centre

Windows System Control Center (WSCC) is a tool used to manage your utilities. Through the simple interface, you have the options to launch, organize, or view utilities. The program also stores several different utility suites. When you download the software, keep a lookout for the troubleshooting tools included. We’d recommend installing them off the bat — there are 270 tools to work with.

That’s all for this week. Enjoy the rest of your week, and remember to make any suggestions about what you’d like to see more of in the comments below.
